Camps in and around the Delta run on a genuinely different logic from a fixed-road safari lodge — many are only reachable by mokoro or light aircraft, and guest counts stay deliberately small because the surrounding channels simply can't support large-scale traffic.
We favour camps with polers and guides who've worked the same stretch of Delta for years, since reading water levels and channel access safely takes exactly that kind of accumulated, specific knowledge.
