This trip pairs two very different sides of Ethiopia: multi-day trekking through the Simien Mountains' dramatic escarpments, and the rock-hewn churches of Lalibela, still active places of worship carved directly into volcanic bedrock.
We build this itinerary privately around local trekking and cultural guides who know both regions closely, with Moseville coordinating logistics throughout.
It's a trip for travellers who want altitude, history and terrain that looks nothing like the rest of East Africa — a genuinely different register from our safari work further south.
